The Gionee M15 was officially announced on May 24 and released in Nigeria on May 28, 2021. The device is the direct successor to the Gionee M12, which was revealed in November 2020. Instead of the 6.55-inch screen on the earlier model, the new Gionee M15 has a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The smartphone now has a centered punch hole notch and an IPS LCD screen panel.
